CARLOS DENGLER  Writer/Performer

Carlos is an actor, writer, and musician living in New York City. In 2015, Carlos performed at the Dorset Theatre Festival, for the regional premiere of Katie Forgette's Sherlock Holmes and the Case of Jersey Lily. In 2016, he performed with the 8G Band, the house band for the Late Night with Seth Meyers. In 1998, Carlos co-founded and began performing with the internationally successful alt-rock band Interpol until his departure in 2010. Carlos is in the midst of a book deal for an upcoming memoir. Training:  MFA in Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts ('15) and Evening Conservatory at Stella Adler Studio of Acting ('11).

Mr. Cole has been the Producing Artistic Director of SoHo Playhouse since 2004. Productions include: “Rap Guide To Religion”, “Mindgame”, “Krapp, 39”, “Piaf”, “Room Service” (with Peccadillo Theatre Co.),, “Belly of a Drunken Piano”, “Bukowski From Beyond”, “Simon Lovell’s Strange & Unusual Hobbies” and “The Emperor Jones” (with Irish Rep). Also proud of his association with Fringe Encore Series where he has developed and produced many commercial hits. He is also bringing the unique style of Off Broadway theatre to Costa Rica. Mr. Cole’s Teatro Jaco opened in 2011.

Janine is a Brooklyn based theater artist. As a producer, her credits include Hell is for Real (at Fringe NYC in 2015) and Re:late/able (Access Theater and Fringe NYC in 2015), which she produced, co-wrote and starred in. She has a background in original, devised works and has appeared with Leimay, Theatre de l'ange fou and Yinzerspilen. She made her professional acting debut with Atlantic Stage in 2012/2013 as Izzy in Rabbit Hole and Maria in Lend Me a Tenor. She studied at the Atlantic Acting School, Evening Conservatory and holds a BA in International Studies from Portland State University.
